Like many others, I found a wealth of information, and whilst Pagesucker was an easy way to download the info, I wound up switching to Connotea to easily save and reference the information in a way that was easy to locate and identify when I wanted it. Author: Patricia Gadsby
Institution: Fairfax County Public Schools
Summary: This is a good article that details the nature of the Inuit diet, it is quite a harrowing read, these people have cast iron stomachs, but it also points out that they are extremely healthy people and their diet suits the extremes of their climate and environment perfectly.

Author: Dan the Medicine Man, Marcus the Carcass Hunter, Dennis the Phantom Menace.
Institution: Rice University
Summary: This site is a bit of University levity from a group of lads, but it does have a delicious sounding recipe for Whale Blubber Pot-Pie and suggests a Lichen Cobbler for desert. Yum.

Author: Ned Rozell
Institution: University of Alaska
Summary: This paper investigates the rarity of diabetes and cardio vascular disease in Alaskan Natives. It suggests that it is due to a diet high in fats.. but good fats that are rich in omega 3 acids. As the traditional diet has waned people have replaced the good fats, that they were virtually addicted to, with bad ones, like crisco.
